Bruce Anderson is the General Manager of the Global Electronics Industry for IBM. In this role he is responsible for over $3.5 B of products and services that IBM provides to industry participants in semiconductor, telecommunications, medical device and consumer electronics companies. Bruce has spent over 25 years assisting companies in their use of information technology to solve their business problems and gain competitive advantage as a management consultant to the electronics industry.
Prior to his current role, Bruce was a Vice President and Partner of IBM's Global Business Services (GBS) unit, where he led a supply chain practice serving clients in IBM's Industrial Sector, including the Electronics industry. This practice consulted on topics from supply chain strategy, process re-engineering and systems implementation, and was the largest commercial sector practice within GBS.
Bruce, his wife Sara and their three children reside in Chicago, where he serves on the board of Junior Achievement of Chicago and Irving Park Carlson Ministries. He remains active with the College of Business Supply Chain Management program at this alma mater, the University of Illinois.
