Emily Heisley Stoeckel is a director of The Heico Companies, L.L.C. and Heico Acquisitions.  Heico is a privately-held company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.  The Heico Companies owns approximately 50 businesses worldwide within a diverse set of industries such as steel, fasteners, steel wire products, pre-engineered metal buildings, heavy equipment, plastics, commercial construction, and material handling equipment.  Heico is also the majority owner of the NBA Memphis Grizzlies.

 

Heico Acquisitions is a key subsidiary of The Heico Companies.  Heico Acquisitions acts as an investment firm specializing in buying interests in under-performing companies and turning them around.  Ms. Heisley Stoeckel, as Director of Heico Acquisitions, is actively involved in investment origination, due diligence and portfolio company monitoring.  Ms. Heisley Stoeckel has extensive experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, strategic planning and financial analysis, and has been with Heico Acquisitions for 17 years.  Ms. Heisley Stoeckel has worked on acquisitions for companies in such industries as Steel, Wire, Industrial Products, Heavy Equipment, Tire Equipment and Air Cargo Systems.

 

Ms. Heisley Stoeckel sits on the board of several companies, both public and private.

 

Ms. Heisley Stoeckel is married with four children.  She is actively involved in many philanthropic activities on behalf of The Latin School of Chicago and the Heisley Family Foundation, and is a member of other civic and professional organizations.  She received a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
