Bob Patin is the Founder of The Bottom Line Club, an organization that performs customized business humor presentations for businesses and associations with the speakers fees donated to charity. He is also the retired chief executive officer of CN A’s life and group benefits businesses, among the top 50 life insurance companies in the United States. Prior to joining CNA Bob served as Chairman and CEO of Washington National Corporation, a public insurance holding company where he led the company to eight consecutive years of improved operating and net income.
Bob also served as president of Insurance Operations for GE Capital Corporation, Managing Partner of the consulting company, The Harbor Group and President of the animated film company, Big Idea Productions, the producers of the nationally best selling videos for children, Veggie Tales.
Bob has served as an Advisory Board member of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University; a member of the Muskingum College Board of Trustees and its Executive Committee; and trustee of National-Louis University. He serves also on numerous corporate boards and is an Executive Committee/Board Member of Junior Achievement of Chicago. He is a graduate of Muskingum College (Ohio).
